Two years ago I shot this farm out by Eudora, KS. I texturized the photo and printed only one 15×10″ print. Somehow, I’ve lost the file for this image, with no back up. Sunday I went back to the scene and re-shot this fantastic Midwestern landscape. The new textured photo is below. I like them both but they have different qualities. At least I can make some prints of the new landscape shot!
We recently traveled to northern Utah to visit my brother. He lives in Ogden Canyon. I was lucky to have many chances to capture beautiful landscapes while I was there. Here is a shot from the middle of a river in UT. I’m still working post processing on several of the images.
Haven’t blogged about a photo in a while. This shot was originally a daytime shot of the Kansas river. It lacked something….so I added a nice full moon from another shot, a fantastic texture from a flickr contact, and created a mystical moonscape. I have printed an 11×14″ of this shot and am not sure where I’ve placed it right now. I need to find if for the next gallery show.
This is an old photo I decided to give a texture. It’s one of my favorite landscape shots. I wish I could have caught some birds in the shot too…maybe I should have worked some in in Photoshop?
Many of my images are textured to get that “painterly” look. This one really comes close to the look of a painting in my eyes.
